Participation of Yuliia Fernos in the International Virtual Exchange Program

In July 2025, Yuliia Fernos, Associate Professor at the Department of Ukrainian and Foreign Languages of Uman National University, joined the 1st cohort of the international Virtual Exchange Trainer & Facilitator Program. This innovative initiative is aimed at developing skills in designing and facilitating effective virtual learning projects that bring together participants from different countries around the world.

The program included four interactive online sessions, assignments, microlearning videos, and the use of resources on the Moodle platform. Participants had the opportunity to explore best practices in digital education, methods of intercultural collaboration, and modern educational technologies.

A particularly valuable aspect was the live exchange of ideas with educators and trainers from across the globe. Such discussions made it possible to broaden professional perspectives and view English language teaching through the lens of global cooperation and cultural diversity.

The program is implemented by the Global Case Study Challenge (GCSC) team – leading experts in the field of virtual exchange, recognized internationally for their innovative approaches to teaching and learning.
